Terms of Use

Grandpa's Atlas is a free, single-player puzzle game. There is nothing to buy inside it, no virtual currency, no account and no online play. These Terms exist so that both You and We know where We stand.

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern Your download and use of Grandpa's Atlas (the "Application" or "Service"), provided by GrandpasAtlas ("Company", "We", "Us" or "Our"). By downloading, installing or playing the Application, You agree to these Terms. If You do not agree, please do not use the Application.

If You are a parent or guardian allowing a child to play, You accept these Terms on the child's behalf.

License to Use

Subject to these Terms, We grant You a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and play the Application on Apple devices You own or control, for Your own private, non-commercial entertainment, as permitted by the App Store terms.

You may not rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, sublicense or otherwise commercialize the Application except as expressly permitted by these Terms and the App Store terms.

Acceptable Use

When using the Application, You agree that You will not:

• copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code of the Application, except where the law expressly allows it;
• extract, redistribute or reuse the Application's artwork, music, sounds or level data outside the Application;
• use the Application for any unlawful, harmful or abusive purpose;
• infringe the intellectual property or other rights of the Company or any third party.

No Accounts

The Application does not offer or require an account. Your progress is saved only on Your device. We cannot restore, transfer or recover a save file, and deleting the Application deletes its progress.

No Purchases, No Virtual Currency

The Application is free and contains no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no advertising and no virtual currency. Artifacts, star gems and other collectibles inside the game are elements of play only; they cannot be bought, sold or exchanged, and they have no value outside the game.

Intellectual Property

The Application, including its artwork, characters, posters, music, sound effects, level designs, code and name, is owned by the Company or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted above, no right, title or interest in the Application is transferred to You. You may not use Our name, logo or artwork without prior written permission, except to share screenshots or recordings of Your own play for non-commercial purposes.

Updates and Availability

We may release updates to the Application that change, add or remove features, and may stop distributing the Application at any time. We do not promise that the Application will be available forever or will be free of errors.

Third-Party Services

The Application is distributed through the Apple App Store, and Your download is subject to Apple's terms. The Application itself does not use or link to any other third-party service.

Termination

The license granted in these Terms ends if You breach them or if We discontinue the Application. Upon termination You must stop using the Application. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers and limitations of liability, continue to apply.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data (including lost game progress), arising out of or related to Your use of the Application. Because the Application is free, the Company's total liability for any claim relating to it shall not exceed the amount You paid for it, which is zero, unless the law requires otherwise.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Company, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of Your place of residence apply. Please contact Us first about any dispute; most questions can be settled by email.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Application after a change means You accept the updated Terms.
